Bible Believing, Bible Teaching
The Country Church is an independent, Bible believing church located just outside Bourbon Indiana. The Country Church has a sincere focus on teaching and believing the Bible as the Word of God and the roadmap to heaven. We strive to not just know what is true, but do what is right. The Country Church also offers a variety of gospel music: choir, special music, and congregational singing; because we believe that godly music also helps us to grow in our walk with Jesus.
Independent Christian Church, Fellowship
We have a dedicated time of fellowship between our Sunday school and main service, and regularly have families who stay awhile after service to enjoy some fellowship. The church family is filled with people who participate through music, children and youth activities, and other acts of service.
Pastor Aaron Talbert has faithfully served as Pastor of The Country Church since November 2016. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Missions from Appalachian Bible College and a Master of Arts in Bible and Theology from Tyndale Theological Seminary and Biblical Institute.
During his time in overseas missionary service, Aaron met his wife, Jenni, with whom he shares a deep commitment to ministry and faith. They were married in 2013 and joyfully welcomed their son, Zoltan, into their family through adoption in 2023. The Talberts have made their home in the community and consider it a blessing to be part of this local fellowship of believers.
